Why we built it
Most independent hosts running four to ten units end up checking Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com separately, then cross-referencing dates by hand to make sure nothing overlaps. StaySync exists to remove that manual step: one calendar, synced automatically, with conflicts flagged and emailed to your team before a guest ever shows up to a double-booked night.
How it works, without a partner agreement
Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com all publish a free, private iCal export per listing, no approval process required. StaySync reads directly from that feed every 15 minutes. It's the same trade-off larger paid channel-manager services make on your behalf for a recurring per-listing fee, except here it's built into the product and works today, even for hosts too small to qualify for a real partner API.
